Our own Vicki West is one of 9 artists invited to participate in the Liberty Gallery show. The Thanksgiving Address, also called "Greetings and Thanks to the Natural World" is an ancient indigenous statement of gratitude for the gifts of the natural world that sustain us all.  Although passed down for centuries by the people of the Haudenosaunee Confederation of northeast North America, Robin Wall Kimmerer has shared the Thanksgiving Address worldwide in her book “Braiding Sweetgrass”, published by Milkweed Editions.
